Distant Worlds VII: more music from FINAL FANTASY
Warriors of Light and Darkness
SQUARE ENIX and AWR Records are proud to present Distant Worlds VII: more music from FINAL FANTASY. As part of our celebration of FINAL FANTASY XIV & XVI, Distant Worlds VII contains the PREMIERE recordings of orchestral concert arrangements of Masayoshi Soken’s compositions from FFXVI including “Away,” “Ascension,” “Find the Flame,” and “My Star.” Pieces from FFXIV include fan-favorite “Flow” sung by original vocalist Amanda Achen and “The Final Day" from ENDWALKER.
Produced and conducted by the legendary Maestro Arnie Roth, Distant Worlds VII also includes many works by the great godfather of FINAL FANTASY music, Nobuo Uematsu, from 1987’s FINAL FANTASY I through 2024’s FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH. Original FINAL FANTASY X vocalist RIKKI lends her incredible talents to a stirring performance of “Suteki da ne” from FINAL FANTASY X and famed NieR vocalist Emi Evans delivers an ethereal performance of “Distant Worlds” from FINAL FANTASY XI. The program is rounded out by our new all-orchestra recording of “Dancing Mad” from FINAL FANTASY VI and Yoko Shimomura’s classic “Valse di Fantastica” from FINAL FANTASY XV.
