Masayoshi Soken

Masayoshi Soken is the sound director and primary composer for the sensational MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) FINAL FANTASY XIV and all of its expansions, including HEAVENSWARD, STORMBLOOD, SHADOWBRINGERS, ENDWALKER, and DAWNTRAIL. He was also the primary composer for the incredible FINAL FANTASY XVI. Soken’s work on the game led to him receiving the Guinness World Record for “Most Original Pieces of Music in a Video Game.” Many of his themes have quickly become iconic to gamers including “Crimson Sunrise,” “Heros,” and “Insatiable.” He is also the leader of the FINAL FANTASY XIV-based rock band The Primals.
