Yoko Shimomura

Yoko Shimomura began her work for SQUARE ENIX with the soundtrack to Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. That and other experiences made her uniquely qualified to helm the SQUARE ENIX/Disney cross-over Kingdom Hearts which, in addition to her incredible music, included arranging and reimagining legendary Disney themes. She also composed music for Kingdom Hearts II & III. Shimomura was the primary composer for 2016’s FINAL FANTASY XV, receiving great acclaim for music like “APOCALYPSIS NOCTIS” and the “Valse di Fantastica.”
