The Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra and KEIO University Choir perform under the direction of GRAMMY Award-winner Arnie Roth, conductor and producer of the Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY world tour.
The two concert programs will include many world premieres of FINAL FANTASY music scores, with new music scores from FINAL FANTASY XIII on November 6, and on November 7 new music scores from FINAL FANTASY XIV. Many more CLASSIC FINAL FANTASY scores will be performed on both nights.
Vocalist Frances Maya (FFXIII soundtrack) will perform in the premiere of Fabula Nova Crystallis (The Promise). Susan Calloway (Distant Worlds I, Distant Worlds II, and FFXIV soundtrack) will make her Tokyo debut singing Nobuo Uematsu’s Main Theme of FFXIV, Answers. Guitar virtuoso Meng-Feng Su will perform FF V: Dear Friends and FF IX: Vamo’ alla Flamenco, and the spectacular young pianist Benyamin Nuss, as heard on the recent Symphonic Fantasies concert and recording and on his new Deutsche Gramophone solo CD, will also be joining us performing March of the Dreadnoughts from FFXIII, Those Who Fight from FFVII, and Love Grows from FF VIII.
